Gold jewellery to go on display at Walt Disney exhibition

A forthcoming exhibition of original artwork from a variety of classic Walt Disney animated films is to include the display of gold jewellery linked to these movies.
The Dreams Come True: Art of the Classic Fairy Tales from the Walt Disney Studios event at the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) in Louisiana will take place between November 15th and March 14th and will include the Disney Precious Collection of gold jewellery.
Among the pieces on show will be representations of Cinderella's glass slipper and Snow White's poisoned apple, as well as numerous characters from Disney films, according to Rapaport.
In addition, a special edition gold frog pendant has been designed for the exhibition ahead of the release of The Princess And The Frog, a movie made in Disney's classic animated style and set in New Orleans.
"We are delighted to present this magical exhibition in New Orleans," remarked E John Bullard, director at NOMA.
