Van Halen chooses gold ring

Eddie Van Halen opted for gold when deciding on a ring to mark his second marriage.The rock legend picked the precious metal and designed the piece of jewellery himself, ahead of his recent wedding in the US.
He married Janie Liszewski - his girlfriend of three years - in Studio City, California on Saturday (June 27th).
In addition to coming up with his own design for the gold ring, Van Halen wrote his vows for the ceremony.
Another celebrity walking down the aisle recently was English soccer star Joe Cole, who wed Welsh fitness trainer Carly Zucker in London on Saturday June 20th.
The 27-year-old told Hello! magazine that he had his late grandmother's gold band modified to fit his finger as a tribute to her.
"I don't generally wear jewellery so I wanted a ring that would mean something," he was quoted as saying.
