Clockmaker celebrates 50-year anniversary

In celebration of their 50th anniversary, German clockmaker Erwin Sattler has created a unique timepiece which unites table clock, wristwatch and winder, reports ViaLuxe.

According to the website, "the Sattler Trilogie combines a precise table clock with 15-day power reserve, to a programmable rotating watch winder which holds a self-winding Erwin Sattler regulator timepiece".

This will be the company's first ever watch which comes in a 46 millimetre case made of 18-karat gold with a sold 18-karat gold winding mass on the inside.

In commemoration of the anniversary, the trilogy will be limited to 150 pieces of which 50 will be made in yellow gold, 50 in white and 50 in rose.

The alligator strap will be completed with a deployant buckle in the matching 18-karat gold colour.

Along with the Trilogie, the company has also made the Opus Temporis, the Monumentum Temporis and the Stella in order to celebrate its half centenary.
