Wednesday, 9th July 2008 (826 views)
Cartier has joined forces with pop and rap singers for its Lovecharity bracelet campaign, according to Baller Status.

Janet Jackson, Ashanti, Common, Janet Jackson, Fergie and Eve among others are to represent a charity and bracelet of their choice.

The bracelets are 18K white gold and rose gold with the word Love engraved in a knotted silk cord. They come in several colours.

Cartier plans to donate some of the proceeds from sales to the charities chosen by the singers.

Janet Jackson's choice for the campaign is the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance which is featured on the gunmetal bracelet and Ashanti has chosen to help the Boys & Girls Clubs of America with sales from the royal blue bracelet she is representing.

The Peapod Foundation will be Fergie's beneficiary. The pop and R&B singer and songwriter is a solo artist but also performs with hip-hop group The Black Eyed Peas who had a number one hit with Where is the Love.
