Gold necklace gift from Geri

Geri Halliwell has given fellow Spice Girls band member Mel B a £7,000 gold necklace to mark Eddie Murphy being named the daughter of her child. A DNA test recently revealed that Murphy was the father of three-month-old Angel Iris, reports Bang Showbiz. The two were involved in a brief fling before the former Spice Girl fell pregnant and Murphy decided to end the relationship.
Bang Showbiz also quotes a source saying Geri gave her band-mate the necklace because "being a mother herself, Geri really felt for Mel during her ordeal and designed a special diamond and white gold necklace as soon as she heard the good news".
However, one source, states that Mel B is "looking forward to moving on with her life with her new baby".
In related news, rumours are currently abounding the celebrity circuit that the Spice Girls are to reform.
An announcement on the future of the band is expected tomorrow.
