Keira's precious premiere

British actress Keira Knightley dazzled in gold on the red carpet when she attended the London premiere of her new film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

Not only was the 21-year-old star wrapped in a plunging and luxurious golden Gucci gown, she was also draped in thousands of pounds worth of gold decorations to match.

White gold adorned with diamonds worth a total of £100,000 was the star's choice for her earrings, bracelet and ring as she wowed fans in Leicester Square.

Of her daring dress, Keira said: "I figured it was hot outside and if you can't wear a dress like this when you're 21 on a day like today, then when can you?"

Also present at the film's premiere, which opens nationwide on Thursday, were Hollywood heartthrobs Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp.
