New Delhi Wedding Souk to feature best of gold jewellery

Thursday, 30th June 2005 (9951 views)
The first Wedding Souk is to be unveiled in Delhi, containing the best gold jewellery and other essential wedding items.

Spread across a one-acre site, the Souk, created by Aerens Gold Souk International and Aeren RJ Group, will contain more than 100 shops ranging in size from 300 to 2,000 square feet.

Situated near Pitampura, the Souk will house renowned jewellers from India and abroad, with jewellery ranges featuring branded and designer jewellery in gold, with diamond, coloured gems and filigree designs.

"We are getting into ten speciality malls for jewelry and wedding related products across the country," said Amit Gupta, vice chairman of Aerens Gold Souk International.

"Probably we will be the only company in India to simultaneously construct speciality shopping malls all across India. The retailers in these malls will get an opportunity to increase their client base and expand their retailing business."

Construction of the Wedding Souk is to be completed by August 2005, with the shopping complex due to open by the time of the Diwali Hindu festival in November.track
