The Popley Group has announced it is to expand in the UAE market.

As part of expansion plans, the company will invest AED 70 million into new outlets and a new two-level showroom in Meena Bazaar in Bur Dubai, which will house more than 400 kilos of gold.

The group is behind the well-known Popley 22 ethnic gold jewellery brand and Popley La Classique, a designer diamond line.

Popley 22's new showroom in Meena Bazaar will offer ethnic and traditional jewellery styles for the Asian community and will be one of the largest gold showrooms in the area.

Dilip Popley, managing director at the Popley Group, said: "We have been present in UAE for over 12 years enjoying high levels of customer loyalty.

"We are currently at an inflexion point in the region and thus felt it was time to further strengthen our position by expanding our presence in terms of outlets and product offerings."

The new showroom will feature 21 and 22 carat jewellery, currently in great demand in the Asian community, and premium watch brands.track
