Creative design team Anthony Camargo and Nak Armstrong, of Anthony Nak Jewelry, have been awarded the Swarovski Perry Ellis Award for Accessory Design.
The company creates a unique range of couture adornment using a distinctive mix of fine gemstones, striking 18-carat and 22 carat-draping gold, platinum and diamonds. The designs incorporate elements of sophistication, beauty and invention and are constantly evolving.
Anthony Nak jewellery has been featured in the pages of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Town and Country, WWD, Glamour, InStyle, Elle, W, Marie Claire and People, National Jeweler, Basel Magazine and Jewelry Connoisseur.
The two designers supply jewellery to fine stores in major US cities and across the world and have been twice nominated for a CFDA Award, in 2004 and 2005. The pair are also recipients of the Fashion Group International Rising Star Award for 2003, and the Town & Country Editors Choice Award 2004.
Anthony Nak launched in 1998 and the company's award-winning flagship store opened in November 2003 in Austin, Texas.
Accepting the award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), Mr Camargo said: "I can't conceive of a greater tribute to our work than this award. When I first heard our names, I was literally speechless."
Swarovski's Perry Ellis Award for Accessory Design was established in 1986 to honour emerging talent.
