Damas opens new store

Tuesday, 26th April 2005 (9573 views)
Top UAE jeweller Damas has opened its 118th outlet this week in a new deal with the Lulu Group.

The jeweller is well known for bringing a host of top names to the UAE and its new store in the Lulu Hypermarket in Ajman will sell 22-carat gold items only.

This is now the seventh store Damas has opened with the Lulu Group, according to AME Info.

Tamjid Abdullah, deputy managing director at Damas, said: "This tie-up with the well-known market chain of Lulu Group, to open Damas showrooms at all of their hypermarkets is a partnership that Damas values.

"Damas partnerships are marked by a mutual respect and amicability that have set new standards in corporate endeavor, looking beyond the immediate present and guaranteeing a long term relationship of growth based on trust."

Among the big names Damas has bought to the gold jewellery buyers in the UAE are Roberto Coin, Scavia, Balocchi Preziosi and Mikimoto.

Damas feels it has a huge responsibility in its role as a leading jeweller in the region, especially since winning the Mohammed Bin Rashid Award for Young Business Leaders Best Service Provider.track
