US jeweller provides items for charity event

Wednesday, 20th April 2005 (8418 views)
Louisiana's Santa Bella helped a worthwhile cause this week, supplying jewellery for the annual Cancer Ball.

The local jeweller, which has items designed by Amber Thorne and Amy Sale, provided a host of gold items for the event, according to the Advocate.

Various items helped accessorise various fashionable outfits at the event, which helps raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

Among the items on display was the Ponytail Necklace. The piece is high at the neck in the front and drapes down the wearer's back, all made from gold.

"It has 25 feet of gold chain with two Bella knots and a dozen strawberry quartz gems," Ms Thorne explained.

Other items included fashion-forward necklaces and earrings, with many featuring Santa Bella's signature Bella knot.

The knot is made from "lots of fine-gauge 14- or 18-carat gold-filled wire made into a circle" and then decorated with stones or gems.track
