2009 Xifu Chinese Wedding Campaign
The Chinese tradition of parents and parents-in-law purchasing gold jewellery for newly-weds has taken on a new meaning. World Gold Council has launched their 2009 Xifu Chinese wedding campaign, championing contemporary gold wedding jewellery, modern wedding gowns, inspired by Chinese traditional culture. This year’s campaign features three-and-four piece gold boxed wedding sets; innovative gold designs incorporating auspicious patterns such as the dragon and phoenix, mandarin ducks and lilies. The campaign appealing to China’s youth and its celebrity culture is available from key retail stockists in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Guangdong and Hongkong.
