Their designs combine the traditional craftsmanship of Arezzo?s goldsmiths with the latest in modern technology. The study and creativity towards product design, quality control and the attention to the smallest detail, are the distinctive characteristics of this dynamic company.
TREEMMEE:
TORRINI:
Inventive genius; this Florentine goldsmith is part of the history of the civilisation of labour, first registered their trademark in 1369, and have over six hundred years handed down their secrets, experience and knowledge from one to another. Today, the Torrini family conscious of their unique past, continue to create jewellery collections inspired by the ancient tradition of Florentine goldsmiths. Distribution is through the most exclusive jewellery stores in the world, from the USA to Japan.
PRIMAVERA PREZIOSI:
Designs that feature hidden technical features such as devices and perfect finishes are at the heart of this core gold collection. The philosophy that Primavera Preziosi has applied during its twenty years of business is to constantly enhance its designs with original shapes that echo fashion trends, creating highly original classic designs.
PIANEGONDA:
Since 1999, Pianegonda, this young and dynamic company, have been creating characteristic collections featuring unique concepts. Franco Pianegonda?s insight and creative energy, has resulted in the creation of inventive, individual designs that have redefined the dictates of luxury in a light-hearted, teasing manner. Pianegonda flair; an impeccably developed style, experiments and interprets different combinations to create bold gold jewels that are elegant, clear and personal. This brand is distributed in Italy and around the world through the best jewellers and in selected department stores. It has over 30 monobrand outlets in some of the most important cities in Italy, Europe and further afield: Milan, Venice, Rome, Florence, Paris, Athens, Marbella, and Dubai. New outlets are to open elsewhere in the world.
NANIS:
Nanis jewels reflect timeless design, perfecting creations with faultless finishes, and exceptional original ideas bursting with emotional delight that dress a woman?s body with clear-cut elegance.
MIMI:
The MiMi collection is an ideal link between western jewellery culture and the magic colours of Asia. Emotions interpreted by ancient symbols of Asian tradition, MiMi plays with gold and colours to dress the contemporary woman with charm and a touch of mystery. Every jewel of MiMi, a typical Italian name that in the ancient Mandarin language means ?beauty?, holds a symbol from the Asian tradition forged in gold. The Ognibene symbol, ?the best of everything?, wishes a life rich of happiness. The ancient Chinese ideogram of Longevity and Health, is featured in necklaces and earrings to give good luck dreams and happy thoughts to the wearer. Every jewel arrives in its own fine box covered with bright silk making eyes light up with curiosity and joy.
BICEGO:
A return to traditional goldsmithing to give jewellery a new impetus, a fresher and more innovative dimension, is the philosophy of Marco Marco Bicego, a young Vicentine designer and the heir to the historic Marco Bicego brand. Exquisite, hand finished designs rework cult favourites, challenge the most experienced highly skilled artisans in the creation of their collections. Currently the Marco Marco Bicego brand is available at 300 shops in Italy. The New York Jeweller, Moise Cohen, has recently successfully launched the Marco Bicego brand in the USA.
LEGI ? ZOCCAI:
Zoccai is a Vicenza based company specialising in the creation of jewellery and gold wear. LeGi International Srl was founded in 1839 and is renowned for its innovative, highly fashion orientated collections. The two brands, ?LeGi? and Pret a Porter Jewellery are the apex of their collections, targeting young, modern and fashion conscious women. With the celebrity endorsement of Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell, the collections are supported by a very sophisticated worldwide publicity campaign. In September 1996, they launched their new brand ?Zoccai?. This precious gem collection features white gold.
FRACCARI:
Effedue Fraccari has always prided itself by carrying out research in alternative materials enabling to distinguish itself with creations of gold fabric and re-designed hollow chains with bold shapes by using advanced technology. The creative founder of Fraccari blends steel in such a unique way that the finish is almost black in colour, thus complimenting the inter-twinning gold threads of the finished designs. The contrast between gold and steel transcends the clean edged geometric steel charms, which are often embellished with miniature diamonds.
FARO:
Faro was founded in 1953 and was the first company to open a showroom in the heart of Milan, with the precise purpose of creating an innovative distribution centre for both Italian and foreign manufacturers. The company carries out continuous research for contemporary and fashionable styles. More than 150,000 items in 18ct and 14ct gold, from 200 carefully selected suppliers, are sold to clients from 56 countries. Apart from the Italian domestic market, the company has strengthened its export business. Faro has created a brand name, ?Lalla & Rossana, that features a selection of innovative designs that show-off the versatility and freshness of gold. This brand is distributed through a network of licensees.
CHIAMPESAN:
Chiampesan has focused its attention on quality; investing sizeable resources in design and manufacturing. All jewellery designed and produced is individually numbered and has a certificate of authenticity. A rigorous quality control system, in-house production of all model dies, special tools and international patent and copyright registrations, all ensure the uniqueness and exclusivity of their product line. Chiampesan takes great pride in its silk, or Florentine finishes since they are applied by hand by skilled masters using an ancient jeweller?s tool called a Scorper, resembling a tiny chisel with a serrated edge. A Chiampesan creation, given its classic and timeless design, can appeal to both the elegant and the casual everyday woman, perfectly matching her individual personality.
CENTOUNDICIAERRE:
Centoundiciaerre was founded by Angelo Giuseppe Mori in the 1970?s near Arezzo, and specialises in contemporary designs of excellent quality for demanding customers all over the world. Every piece of jewellery has a spirit that transcends the value of the precious metal. This may be evident in the way it has been worked, in its shape or in the stones which are set in it ? or it may be a synthesis of all these. There is however, one common denominator in all their creations: ?light heartedness?.
AURITALIA:
Auritalia S.p.A. is based in Sandrigo, Vicenza ? Italy, one of the most flourishing areas in the European economy, site of the most important Italian industrial districts specialising in goldsmithing. Since 1987, the company has been creating gold jewels in different carat weights. Auritalia exports 95% of its products all over the world and is one of the leading companies in its sector. The philosophy of Auritalia lies in the connection of Jewels and Culture, through the collaboration of designers and artists. The Auritalia jewel expresses the company mission whereby every Jewel is a vehicle of Culture for a new Cultural Renaissance through Enterprise. The company has been engaged in projects concerning: ?economic-cultural globalisation?, certified by the United Nations, and in campaigns for solidarity and in the diffusion of the Manifesto2000 for peace in the world as well as by creating the ?Jewel for Peace?, a Unesco project. While stressing its international vocation and supporting synergy between cultures and the world markets, the company has achieved recognition as one of the most innovative companies on the scene for Italian gold design.
DAMIANI:
Damiani has always been synonymous with the best of the ?Made in Italy? tradition throughout the world. Its classic nature is based on shapes, the quality of their gems and high precision. Enrico Grassi Damiani started creating jewels back in 1924. They were so beautiful and elegant that the fame of this master goldsmith soon made Damiani the trusted jeweller for important families who turned to him to create small masterpieces. Damiano Grassi Damiani, his son, wasn?t satisfied with continuing his father?s success and felt the need to renew the tradition. He therefore, extended the fame of the brand even further, paying greater attention to design and technical innovations. A choice ? to go always that one step ?further? ? is also shared by the third generation that today runs the firm, continuing the process of development, interpreting the tradition with the same spirit of innovation that Damiani stores have as part of their genetic make-up. Today you can find Damiani Boutiques in Milan (via Montenapoleone), Rome, Florence, Venice, Bari, Naples, Portocervo, Portofino, Turin, Verona, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, London, Moscow, Kiev, Dubai, Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Seoul, Busan and Honolulu. Others will shortly be opening elsewhere around the world.
RONCO:
Ronco draws on thirty years? experience to produce top quality gold jewellery. Skilled craftsmanship, professional expertise and service are the features that have established the company?s success. The company, which employs approximately 100 people, is divided into two complementary departments: the semi-finished products department, which uses the most advanced technology, and the jewellery department where the accent is on design and craft finishing. Every decision has been guided by the philosophy of quality. Their jewellery is distributed to selected clientele in Italy and abroad who appreciate their continuous evolution and stylistic innovation.
SUPERORO:
Founded in 1983 by Rino Augusto Rigon and Roberto Matteazzi, this Vicenza Company developed a language capable of expressing all commercial and aesthetic aspects of fine jewellery to provide a well-known and internationally recognised product. Superoro?s care in providing prestigious jewellery and watches is expressed through the creativity of sensitive designers who interpret and materialise the latest trends. Memories are merged with noble goldsmithing and the cult of perfection to create traditional beauty interpreted with progressive and imposing style.
SONGA:
Songa was founded in 1921 when Antonio Songa began his career as a goldsmith artisan. Recognising the evolution of the market, in 1935 Antonio Songa?s manufacturing business evolved into a wholesaler of precious jewellery and thus started a business trend destined to become a reference point for the whole jewellery sector. After World War II, the company grew exponentially and the facilities were moved from Corso di Porta Ticinese, to more spacious surroundings in Via Paolo da Cannobio, the hub of goldsmithing in Milan. Inspired by the same enthusiasm, activism and entrepreneurship of his father, Giovanni Songa took the helm in 1962. By then, successful commercial products and a proven sales formula had already made the Songa Group a leader with traditional retailers in Italy. In the mid-1990s, sons Antonio and Francesco also joined the company, and their contributions have continued to create success in the growth of the Songa Group. Today, over 2000 clients visit the Songa Group showroom in MilanN, to see the best in goldsmith production, to preview the most sought-after and original jewellery creations specially selected by the company.
