LARA BOHINC
London-based fashion jewellery designer Lara Bohinc is launching her first fine jewellery collection, focusing on yellow, white and rose 18 carat gold, accented with gems, and pointing to the new emphasis on metal in precious jewellery. Solaris, featuring her strong signature sphere motif, is inspired by the movement of the planets in the universe, the world that created us, while Skyline, angular, architectural, with Cleopatra-esque collars and cuffs, reflects the world we create ourselves. Solaris shines with smooth glossy golden globes while Skyline is splayed with crumpled, multi-textured strips of gold, like rays of sunshine caught in an urban landscape.
