Known for his boundless creativity and advanced fashion sense, Pianegonda interprets gold by transforming the precious metal into design symbols. Originating in Italy and established in Vicenza in early 1994, the Maison is led by Franco and his sister Maria Luisa, a dynamic, creative marketing and communications manager. Maria Luisa likes to define the profile of the Pianegonda woman as «elegant, refined and reflecting a style that expresses a contemporary way of life. Complete independence of taste and thought. She knows what she wants and knows how to get it. She is curious, intelligent and dynamic preferring to interpret fashion in her own way rather than following it.
A global hit
Pianegonda’s mission has always been to design and produce innovative, top quality jewellery with a style content capable of expressing and conveying the driving force of the Maison all over the world. Its creations in gold appear seductively soft. At times lit up by pavés of diamonds as seen in the Golden Navy line, or by the colour of natural stones such as topaz, amethyst and quartz fumé. Elegance and individuality rule the gold collection of fine jewellery, characterised as delicate objects of beauty. Expressing the perfection of the highest Italian craftsmanship to be chosen and worn with panache.
Recognisable motifs
Pianegonda’s favourite forms are tangible, distinctive icons in themselves. The Lovesick Heart, for example, is the perfect symbol for two opposite souls: on the one hand romantic love, that manifests itself in soft and passionately sensual lines, on the other hand cruel and painful disillusionment, as sharp as the finest blade.
