Background
Positioned as the Oscars of gold jewellery design, the Chinese competition is the newest addition to the AngloGold Ashanti AuDITIONS family, which is co-sponsored by AngloGold Ashanti, Just Gold®, the leading gold jewellery fashion brand of Greater China and the World Gold Council. AngloGold Ashanti AuDITIONS competitions also take place in India, Brazil, South Africa and the Middle East. Launched in June 2006, AuDITIONS China received extensive interest from all walks of design life. The organizing committee received hundreds of renderings from all over the country, with students, amateur designers and professionals from jewellery and other design disciplines taking part.

World Gold Council
