Page One:

A night of beauty and elegance at the Serraria Souza Pinto in Belo Horizonte, Brazil was the ideal setting for the 24 finalist designers from the AngloGold Ashanti AuDITIONS Jewellery Design Contest, to join in with selected VIP guests in celebration of the winning finalists. The venue was decorated in white, donoting glacial coldness, in keeping with the theme of this latest Ensemble, 'Glacial Heat'.

Gold Inspirations congratulates all the finalists and previews here the very first time, the First Place Designer Category Winners' and the winner of the Revelation Category.

Page Two:

Taking first place in the Designer Category, and awarded a prize of US$10,000 in gold, designers, Carlos Godoy and Gui Marin Kessedjian make a formidable pair, creating the piece entitled Royal Warrior. Their golden helmet captures the essence of the brief, by illustrating the multiple roles that women play in today's fast and hectic society. Dulce Goettems was chosen as winner of the Revelation Category and was awarded a scholarship of US$5,000. Her winning design, entitled Glacier Scarf, shows-off gold's extraordinary malleability and strength.
