please contact: First Prize Designer: Radhika Mahesh Jhalani,
Mumbai The combination of the fully ripened golden alphonso mango
and the brilliance of the summer sun was the inspiration for the
creation. This is realised in the interaction of positive and
negative space. Second Prize Designer: Raghunath Jana, Kolkata The
design is inspired by the natural beauty of creepers. This theme is
extended with the entwining of the jewellery around the neck, thus
using the natural beauty of the piece to enhance the beauty of the
wearer. Third Prize Designer: Krishma S. Jain, Bangalore This
design is intended for women who value their traditional roots, yet
dare to experiment with the contemporary. These pieces are a
combination of form, rhythm and vibrancy, blending wood with white
and yellow gold. Audience Choice Award Designer: Reema Gangwal,
Aurangabad The design takes the traditional
“dupatta†and adds a reflective
quality to it by using gold chains. This produces a fashionable
look that is enhanced by the mango designs.
