18ct yellow gold My Dior Cuff, by Dior.
As Creative Director of Dior Joaillerie, since the late 90s, Victoire de Castellane has been responsible for injecting a modern spirit of artistry, and fantasy into precious jewellery. For her latest collection, she turns to gold, and, for its story, she returns to one of the strongest and most evocative of all Dior codes: the cannage, or cane work of the Napoleon III chairs, inspired by the 18th century, and used for the Haute Couture shows and for the boxes and bottles of the Dior perfume Eau Fraiche. De Castellane explains, "I have a childhood memory of the Dior boutique, when I used to go with my mother to buy her stockings."

18ct pink gold My Dior Ring, by Dior.
For My Dior – so called for the English names Christian Dior liked to use and for the play on words, as "My" sounds like "Maille", the French word meaning interwoven mesh - de Castellane wanted to create the effect of straw woven in gold. The rings, bangles and cuffs are designed as woven ribbons and rope-like threads, contrasting matt and polished surfaces to create depth and texture. Hand-made in leading Parisian ateliers, using traditional techniques, lost-wax casting, tooling, polishing, and setting, they come in yellow, white and rose gold, some scattered with diamonds and coloured gems. These are versatile, accessible jewels intended to be worn all day every day, and to appeal to all types and styles of women, to become personal golden treasures, part of a woman's persona, to become mine, My Dior.
