Perle de Lune Medailles from the Maharani Collection, designed by Sandrine Domercq. Group shot of Indian inspired 18k yellow gold, engraved and perforated medals.
Jewellery designer, Sandrine Domercq, the daughter of a painter and sculptor, was introduced to form, colour and texture at an early age. Always attracted by jewels and gems, which she avidly collected on extensive travels, it was a natural progression for her to launch her own jewellery collection, Perle de Lune, in 2002. She works in sun-yellow 18 carat gold, crafted into richly textured frosted gold beads, or the shiny discs hand-pierced with lace like floral patterns of the Maharani collection of Indian-inspired medals and tasselled openwork pendants, tracing the lyrical floral outlines, for example of a lotus blossom, in gold, poetic and majestic.
