Sharyar Falcon Bangle; handmade one-off piece in 18k yellow gold, set with diamonds, by Sabine Roemer.
When Sabine Roemer, London-based German-born sculptor-goldsmith, launched her first major collection a year ago, she tapped into her passion for travel, for all things exotic and ethnic, to create a series of 22 one-of-a-kind gold and gem-set figural jewels inspired by stories of the Arabian Nights, remembered from her childhood. Celebrating history and romance, and focusing on the animals in the stories, Sabine used her goldsmithing and modelling skills, perfected in Pforzheim, to sculpt three-dimensional, finely detailed jewels including the Sharyar falcon's head ring, the luscious Sharyar gold feather bangle and the Parizade camel ring. Fusion, fauna and fantasy.
